came to Peru in December 1992. I have seen many changes.
I am frequently asked "If you are an American
citizen, why Peru?"
I have always felt a strong feeling that I belong
here. Even with the daily strife of daily life in Peru. It seems that
everyday I see or am confronted with challenges to my patience. These
things range from less than poor customer service, to driving, to
corruption, and simple basic civic education. Yet, I prefer it here! Maybe
it is the challenge.
This website is a mere hobby of mine designed to
share those experiences and solutions for all of those other "gringos" out
there. Where possible, I try to point out potential danger problems where
but foreigners and locals are victims in one form or the other. If I can
advertise a service or business or either my own, a friend, or a great
service I have experienced... great.
